Our candidates must attend a CLT 101 orientation to learn about the benefits of the Community Land Trust (CLT) model and determine their eligibility for our programs.

You can also or receive a link to apply via email, pick up a copy in person, or we can mail an application form to your current address!

You’ll need to collect and begin submitting your application documents including your mortgage prequalification letter from one of our partners, employment verification, previous 2 yrs. tax returns + W2s, 1 month of past paystubs, and HUD Certified Homebuyer Education Certificate.

CBCLT and our lending partners at First Commonwealth and WesBanco will guide you through the mortgage process!

CBCLT homebuyers must meet with an attorney to review and understand our ground lease prior to closing.
