These three, brand-new homes will be the first City of Bridges Community Land Trust homes in the Etna! This space is formerly occupied by two blighted properties that the county tore down over a decade ago. The Borough of Etna approached CBCLT to develop affordable housing: three new construction Zero Energy Ready Homes, all-electric, with no gas bill. This groundbreaking marks the start of a long-awaited development! The community in Etna has been eager for this update and we were able to move forward thanks to the County’s investment of more than $1M.

Each of these permanently affordable homes will be 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom, 3 floors, have front porches, a parking pad, and many more special features.

You’ll notice custom lighting crafted by local artisans, quality bathroom fixtures and tile, and a fully-equipped kitchen including sparkling new counters and flooring, with new energy efficient appliances, including a dishwasher and 2nd floor washer and dryer. Plenty of storage and closets are located throughout. An abundance of windows will let gorgeous natural light shine into these homes on a generous corner lot. 

In addition to lower energy costs, our team will work with you to identify programs and grant opportunities to help lower downpayment and closing costs upfront. The Community Land Trust model allows our homeowners to build assets and improve their financial freedom, while the home will be kept affordable by our movement and community, together, for generations to come.
