City of Bridges Community Land Trust is bringing more affordable housing to Pittsburgh! Phase 2 of CLT work has begun with renovations on six single-family houses in Lawrenceville. Renovations began earlier in October, with the installation of new roofs on 2 properties on 46th St. and one property on Plum Way. Rehabilitations will include new windows, flooring, HVAC systems, and renovated kitchens and baths.
The six single-family homes scattered around Central Lawrenceville, on 46th St., 44th St., 34th St., and Plum Way. One three-bedroom home and five two-bedroom homes are slated to be completed in Spring2020. Applications are available for prospective CLT homeowners. Follow the link provided for the application.
While the units will not be available until Spring 2020, follow our social media for updates and photos of the units to see the rehab process. The rehabilitation and sale of these six homes will bring the CLT closer to achieving its goal of creating 100 affordable housing units within our first five years of operation.
